Twelve New Zealand paddlers have earned selection for the 2026 ICF Canoe Sprint & Paracanoe World Championships, to be held in Poznan, Poland from 26 to 30 August.

North Shore Canoe Club contributes three athletes in Finn Murphy, Grant Clancy, and Greer Morley. Hawkes Bay Kayak Racing Club is represented by Aimee Fisher and Hamish Legarth, while Poverty Bay Kayak Club sends Jacqueline Kennedy and Quaid Thompson.

James Munro and Lucy Matehaere carry the Otago Kayak Racing Club colours, Scott Martlew and Olivia Brett come from Arawa Canoe Club, and Kurtis Imrie from Mana Kayak Club.

Selection recognises not only the athletes' own effort and commitment, but the work of their coaches, clubs, families, and supporters behind them.
