Tauranga Boat Sales (TBS) has been appointed New Zealand-wide sales consultants for the all-new Caribbean boats range, now built by Maritimo on the Gold Coast. The business is ready to field enquiries and can supply specification sheets and pricing on the first two models to launch, the 40F and 27F.
TBS operates from a waterfront office at the Tauranga Bridge Marina, where five dedicated sales berths along the foreshore give the business a natural presence on the water. The result is a relaxed, low-pressure environment that suits buyers at any stage of the process. Some people walk past a few times, drawn to a particular boat well before they make a formal enquiry or engage a broker. Others prefer a straightforward, no-fuss viewing right on the doorstep. The setup works equally well for both.
The company sits within the White Bros Group, with Scott and Paul White having been business partners for 38 years. Scott and his wife Kim lead day-to-day operations at TBS, bringing between them deep knowledge of the marine industry and considerable large powerboat experience.

The appointment carries particular meaning for TBS. The company previously represented the Caribbean brand on a nationwide basis for the Spooner family across an 18-year period, and welcoming the marque back into the fold, now under Maritimo ownership, is regarded by everyone involved as a genuine honour. Caribbean has long held heavyweight status in the marine industry, and that reputation remains firmly intact.
The first two new releases, the 40F and 27F, retain the same proven hull forms while gaining integrated patented hull liners, fully redesigned topsides, and substantially modernised interiors and flybridges. Maritimo has brought some of its best build processes and systems to the range. Further models are already in the pipeline, with the 27S, 50F, 45S, and 35F all set to follow, and discussions are underway regarding the return of a number of additional Caribbean models beyond those.
