The second event of the Hydroplane Racing League (HRL) season took place on June 6 and 7 in Sorel-Tracy, with intense on-water action played out against challenging weather conditions.

Saturday delivered an exciting show on the St. Lawrence River despite the unfavourable conditions, with drivers demonstrating their talent, determination, and passion for the sport.

Weather did not improve on Sunday, forcing the complete cancellation of that day's racing programme for safety reasons. Weekend standings were determined based on the fastest recorded times in each class.

The HRL circuit continues on June 27 and 28 in Brockville, Ontario, where all classes return to action.
