The Cannes Yachting Festival will host sixteen world premiere motor yachts when it opens on 8 September 2026, with designs ranging from a compact 12.67-metre Italian power catamaran to a 43.6-metre Italian superyacht.
The festival expects nearly 535 new motor boats between 3 and 50 metres across its two venues, with almost 120 world premieres among them. The Vieux Port will display boats from 12 to 50 metres alongside the Power Cat Village the established Cannes festival dates and Vieux Port venue, while Port Canto's Power Boat Marina will house nearly 180 dayboats and power craft up to 13 metres.
"Motor boats are central at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Exhibited between the Vieux Port and Port Canto, dayboats, semi-rigid boats, catamarans and superyachts demonstrate the exceptional diversity of the offer presented. The many innovations unveiled this year, including almost 120 world premieres, allow visitors to see the major developments in the sector, in terms of performance, comfort, design and innovation," explains Constance Brément, Director of the Cannes Yachting Festival".
Among the headline debuts, Azimut Yachts will present the Grande 44M, a four-deck superyacht employing Carbon-Tech construction to reduce weight while maintaining volume. Ferretti Group's Custom Line Navetta 35 offers three decks of Italian-designed living space, while Benetti's B.YOND 37M introduces the builder's Voyager concept with modular architecture for extended exploration.
Several catamaran builders are bringing new designs to the festival. Cantiere del Vybe enters the market with the Vybe 43, a 12.67-metre power catamaran designed by Adam Younger with stepped hulls and reverse bows that the builder claims maintains monohull-beam accessibility to standard marina berths. YOT Power Catamarans' YOT 53 features a fully open cockpit with tilting sea door and fold-out terraces, while CNB Lagoon Power's Eighty 3 builds on its predecessor with integrated solar panels and low-carbon resin construction.
Solar-electric propulsion appears in Pioneer Yachts' PY60, the German builder's first solar-electric catamaran, designed around generation, storage and electric drive systems. Sunreef Yachts' Ultima 88 combines hybrid propulsion with ultra-light flexible solar panels on a 28.39-metre platform that the builder says merges multihull stability with monohull-inspired sport styling. Tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has ordered one.
Two builders are focusing on long-range and exploration capability. Amer Yachts' first steel build, the Amer Steel 42, claims 8,900 nautical miles of range in Eco mode with Ice Class certification, accommodating 10 guests and 9 crew. Outer Reef Yachts' YXT 27 combines exploration yacht qualities with support vessel versatility.
Other premieres include Sacs Marine's Hyper 5S maxi-RIB with folding side terraces, Greenline Yachts' 50 Fly with single-level main deck, Anvera's carbon-fibre 200-S Racing Hyperyacht, Pearl Yachts' Pearl 73 designed by Bill Dixon with Kelly Hoppen Interiors, Breva Marine's modular-configuration Breva 1300, and Sirena Marine's 36-metre composite superyacht Sirena 118.
