Four product and design trends are shaping what Scanstrut is bringing to market in 2025, spanning boat interior aesthetics, onboard inflation, charging technology, and connectivity.

The shift toward minimalist interiors is one of the more visible changes. Where timber-heavy fitouts once dominated, owners are increasingly drawn to lighter, cleaner styling. Scanstrut's response is a new series called TILE (Tiny Interior Lifestyle Electronics), offered in stainless steel or brushed black finishes.

The ATMOS is a compact pump designed for inflating and deflating paddleboards, tenders, and fenders. It is built for efficient performance in a small footprint, on boats where locker space is always tight.

Glass-interface centre consoles, a trend borrowed from automotive design, are becoming more common as touchscreen navigation and onboard entertainment go mainstream. Scanstrut's ULTRA is a Mag-compatible phone charger with a toughened glass finish, intended to work with all-glass console surfaces and bridge mobile devices with onboard navigation and apps.

Charging capability is another focus area. With more onboard electronics to power, including laptops drawing directly from USB ports, demand for higher-output charging in accessible locations has grown.

Alongside that, the global move to USB-C, accelerated by EU legislation passed in 2024, is driving changes to Scanstrut's charger range to align with the new standard.
