Built around a horizontal entry configuration, the DS-HSL-01 pulls cables tight against the mounting surface, producing a clean, low-profile result that matches its performance credentials. Compatibility covers Starlink Gen 3, NMEA, and RJ45 cables, among other types, making it a versatile option across a wide range of onboard systems.
For professional installers, the split, pre-drilled bung arrangement and purpose-designed internal cavity allow pre-fitted connectors to pass straight through without cutting or re-terminating cables, delivering genuine time savings on the job. A self-drill bung is also included in the kit, giving full flexibility for custom cable sizes while preserving the watertight seal.
The DS-HSL-01 draws on Scanstrut's established horizontal cable seal platform, carrying forward the compact, impact-resistant construction the range is recognised for. Its IP68 waterproof rating provides a complete barrier against water ingress, even under demanding marine and outdoor conditions.
Cable diameters from 2 to 8mm and connector sizes up to 16mm are accommodated, which extends the seal's usefulness well beyond Starlink connectivity to include solar panels, light bars, onboard lighting, and communications systems.
The complete feature set includes an IP68-rated waterproof seal, compatibility with Starlink Performance, Enterprise, Standard (Gen 3), and Mini systems, and support for NMEA and RJ45 cables. The low-profile horizontal design requires no sealant, and captive nuts allow fast, repeatable fitting. The unit ships with multiple bung sizes plus the self-drill option, is manufactured from UV-stable, high-impact materials, and is available in black or grey. A three-year warranty is included.
