Riviera will make its European debut with the 6800 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival in France, running from September 8 to 13.

The Australian luxury motor yacht builder's display will also feature the 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition and the 395 SUV. Riviera will host a special evening event for its European family of motor yacht owners at the show on Friday, September 11.

The 6800 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition offers three or four stateroom configurations along with expansive entertaining spaces. Developed by the Riviera design group in collaboration with superyacht designer Luca Vallebona, it includes an all-weather aft deck, a forward sun deck and a tender garage suited to water sports gear. The accommodation deck offers a choice of three or four staterooms and three bathrooms, along with a crew cabin or utility room and a full-height walk-through engine room.

Riviera Australia owner Rodney Longhurst said the company and its European dealer representatives were pleased to showcase yachts from a fleet of 22 individual models ranging from 39 to 78 feet, every one sharing a 46-year heritage of evolution.

"We are proud that Riviera yachts have been sought after in Europe since 1985 for their blue-water heritage, superb luxury and built to last quality," Mr Longhurst said. "Our team has a genuine commitment to design, innovation, quality and owner care, creating a truly world-class luxury motor yacht experience. In Cannes, we look forward to demonstrating the amazing ease of boating that our team has created which is being enjoyed by more than 6,300 Riviera owners around the world."

Also on display is the 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, which features an aft deck with a wrap-around lounge, folding table and barbecue centre, along with a choice of two or three staterooms including a full-beam master suite and two bathrooms. The Sport Yacht collection additionally includes the 5600, 6200 and 6800 models.

The 395 SUV, part of Riviera's SUV collection alongside the 445, 465, 505, 585 and 645 Series II models, blends elements of a sports motor yacht and a sport yacht in a broad-beam hull under 40 feet. It includes an aft galley, a saloon, and an accommodation deck with a private entry master stateroom, a guest stateroom and a designer bathroom.

All new Riviera models carry two-year express and seven-year structural limited warranties, with Volvo Penta and MAN-powered yachts backed by five-year limited warranties on engines, drives and electronics.

Mr Longhurst said the Cannes showcase reflected the work of the company's team. "Our Cannes showcase demonstrates the timeless design, superb luxury and precision engineering that our team of more than 900 are so proud and passionate to create," he said. "Riviera and our European representatives look forward to welcoming Riviera owners and admirers aboard to inspect these luxurious models at our on-water showcase at Quai Pantiero in the Vieux Port, Pantiero Area, PAN 009 and PAN 215, from September 8 to 13."
