Maritimo is set for a strong return to the Auckland Boat Show in 2026, presenting two of its newest flagship models at Jellicoe Harbour marina from 5 to 8 March. Auckland's authorised Maritimo partner, Motor Yacht Service Centre, will represent the brand, with the M75 and M55 Flybridge models placed prominently near the show entrance. It shapes up as one of the most impressive displays the Australian motor yacht builder has brought to New Zealand in years.
Motor Yacht Service Centre's ties to Maritimo go back two decades, with the business supporting owners from its Hobsonville Marina base well before formally taking on the sales consultant role in September 2025. It is a true family operation, led by Dean and Glynis Ryder alongside their daughter Sophie and son-in-law Shanon Robertson. The team brings genuine enthusiasm for long-range cruising and a thorough understanding of how Maritimo's designs suit New Zealand waters.
The centrepiece of the display will be Illusion, the M75 Flybridge, which registered guests will be able to step aboard and explore. Superyacht-grade proportions and finish come backed by serious hardware: twin MTU V10 engines delivering 1625 horsepower, shaft drives, and a 10,000-litre fuel capacity that puts extended Pacific passages well within reach, from Fiji through to the deeper South Pacific. Five M75s are already in operation across New Zealand, including Talisman, the very first hull of the line, which Motor Yacht Service Centre continues to support throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
The M55 Flybridge, Maritimo's best-selling model, will also feature in the display. Its reputation rests on the pairing of genuine long-range capability with an interior that brings blue-water performance together with refined contemporary living. Interest is also building around the forthcoming M50, a smaller model drawing attention from prospective new owners and those considering a step down in size without giving up on luxury.
Activity beyond the boat show is equally notable. Motor Yacht Service Centre is advancing plans for a new sales and servicing complex at Hobsonville, featuring dedicated berths and covered shed space, with an opening scheduled for the summer of 2026-27.
The broader Maritimo community has a full season ahead. The 2026 Muster will bring owners together at Man O' War Bay on Waiheke Island, and in early June a fleet will head for Fiji, with Minerva Reef on the itinerary for fishing and exploration along the way.
