A new video walkthrough of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 455 gives sailors a detailed look at the second model in the ninth generation of Sun Odyssey yachts, ahead of her North American premiere at the Annapolis Sailboat Show.
Catherine Guiader, National Sailboat Sales Manager at Jeanneau America, guides viewers through the yacht, pointing out what makes her both easy to sail and comfortable to live aboard. The 455 follows the Sun Odyssey 415 as the latest release in Jeanneau's ninth-generation line.
On deck, a new high-performance hull designed by Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group gives the 455 a clean, contemporary profile. Walkaround sidedecks remove the steps between cockpit and bow, while twin helms keep the boat easy to handle, whether sailed short-handed or with a full crew.
The cockpit is built for long afternoons on the water with friends.
Below deck, the interior from designer Jean-Marc Piaton opens into a bright saloon with seating for up to ten people around the table. A fully equipped galley and comfortable cabins round out a space that feels both practical and refined, and the boat is offered in four layouts so owners can choose how they cruise.
Guiader also highlights the finer details that set the 455 apart, including a chart table that works in two directions and an integrated onboard workshop. The yacht measures 46'10" overall and carries 100 gallons of water and 52 gallons of fuel, giving her the range for anything from a weekend on the bay to a longer passage.
The Sun Odyssey 455 makes her North American premiere at the Annapolis Sailboat Show, running 15 to 18 October 2026, where she will be berthed at Dock F1.
