Christian Beck's two-time Line Honours winning 100-footer is getting its old name back, and this time it's bringing a children's charity and a media personality along for the ride.
InfoTrack has reclaimed naming rights to Beck's supermaxi, previously campaigned as LawConnect, ahead of the 2026 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. It's the first time in four years the InfoTrack name has appeared on the boat for this race.
The campaign will run under the banner "Sailing for a Purpose", raising funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation. InfoTrack is part of a four-boat fleet of 100-footers chasing the Illingworth Challenge Cup, awarded to the first boat across the line in Hobart. Joining it in that battle will be Anthony Bell's Tribeca LOYAL, Grant Wharington's Wild Thing 100 and Mark Richards's Palm Beach XI.

Four supermaxis, one trophy. It should be a cracking sprint down the Tasman.
There's a celebrity face in the mix too. Matty J, the Australian media personality and 2026 Father of the Year, has been named official ambassador for the campaign and will be among the 21-strong crew for the season, including the race itself.
Christian Beck, InfoTrack's founder and the yacht's owner and skipper, said bringing the name back marked a new era for the boat.

"This year, we're bringing the InfoTrack name back to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race using our technology to bring people closer to the race and support Starlight Children's Foundation," Beck said.
"This is the people's boat. We want everyone to feel part of the race, whether they're watching us live from onboard the InfoTrack SuperMaxi, following the crew from start to finish or donating to Starlight. If we can make a difference to sick kids and their families along the way, that's a win in itself."
Starlight Children's Foundation CEO Louise Baxter said the partnership gave sailing fans a reason to care beyond the result.

"Thanks to InfoTrack, the millions of people who watch the race will have the opportunity to help Starlight create moments of happiness and joy for seriously ill children and their families that will last long after the race is over."
Matty J, a Starlight ambassador since 2024, admitted he's still finding his sea legs.
"As a dad of three young girls, I know what it's like to experience the stress of illness and emergency trips to hospital. That's why I'm so proud to support Starlight and the incredible work they do for sick kids. Learning to sail was my New Year's resolution, so I've certainly thrown myself in the deep end. Being part of the 'Sailing for a Purpose' campaign is a unique opportunity to help make a real difference, and I can't wait to get out on the water with the crew," he said.

InfoTrack CEO John Ahern pointed to the technology behind the campaign. The boat, he said, will carry a record number of onboard cameras live-streaming through the night for overseas audiences following the race as it unfolds.
"The InfoTrack SuperMaxi will have the most advanced technology on the water," Ahern said.
The 2026 Rolex Sydney Hobart starts Saturday 26 December at 1300 hours AEDT. Both the start and finish will be streamed live on the race website and through the CYCA's YouTube channel.
