A new floating display, the Wooden Boat Stage Afloat, will give visitors the chance to experience a curated collection of wooden boats up close at the 2026 Southampton International Boat Show.
The feature extends the existing Wooden Boat Stage onto the water, with boats selected by the Boat Building Academy (BBA), Women in Boat Building (WiBB), and the Wooden Boatbuilders' Trade Association (WBTA).
The lineup covers traditional craftsmanship, restoration projects, and the stories behind some of Britain's most interesting wooden boats.
