Marking seven years since its first Sanctuary Cove appearance, Flite is returning to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show this month with what it describes as its most advanced and award-winning lineup yet. The show runs from 21 to 24 May at Sanctuary Cove, Queensland, and that anniversary carries genuine weight for the electric hydrofoil brand, which operates under Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC). The distance between the 2018 debut and this year's return reflects how substantially both the technology and the company have evolved.
At the centre of the stand is the Series 6 range, Flite's most refined board lineup, presented alongside FLITELab, the brand's dedicated performance division. The arrival drawing the most attention is AMPJet, making its first appearance in the boating market at SCIBS. Flite positions AMPJet as a new frontier in performance foiling propulsion.
Also on the stand is Fliteboard RACE x Mercury Racing, a competition-focused eFoil developed in collaboration with Mercury Racing for experienced riders seeking maximum speed and control. Engineered to deliver higher RPMs and reach top speeds of 55 km/h (34 mph, 30 knots), Fliteboard RACE sets a fresh benchmark for high-performance electric foiling. Both Fliteboard RACE and AMPJet have already accumulated international recognition, with each earning Red Dot and iF Design Awards for innovation and design excellence.
Dion Dougherty, Global Managing Director of Flite, says the return to Sanctuary Cove resonates well beyond a standard trade show appearance. "SCIBS is where Flite's story began, and it's incredibly meaningful to return with technology that demonstrates just how far foiling and our brand have progressed. From Series 6 and Fliteboard RACE x Mercury Racing through to AMPJet, everything we're presenting this year reflects Australian-led innovation, global testing, and a deep commitment to redefining what's possible on the water."
Dougherty also spoke to the show's broader value as an industry platform. "As Australia's premier marine and lifestyle showcase, SCIBS provides a powerful platform for Flite to engage consumers, dealers, and industry leaders, while highlighting the brand's evolution from a home-grown innovator to a global force shaping the future of premium foiling across the marine and watersports ecosystem, through award-winning engineering and design, and a distinctly Australian approach to innovation."
Visitors to Stand MB9 during the show weekend can access an exclusive Fliteschool Gold Coast promotion. Book a Fliteschool lesson before the end of May, to be taken before the end of September 2026, and receive 50 per cent off the session. The promo code is available in person at the stand.
