Boating YouTuber Dan's BoatLife has put the Jeanneau TH38 power catamaran through its paces in a pair of new videos, covering everything from dockside layout to open-water handling.
The first video takes viewers through the TH38 at the dock, focusing on the spaces that define the boat's day-to-day use. An expansive cockpit offers plenty of room for entertaining and relaxing, with adjustable seating allowing the layout to be changed throughout the day. Below deck, two private hulls provide separate accommodation for overnight stays or longer trips away.
The review also looks at some of the practical features behind the TH38's design. A stern platform gives easy access to the water, while the boat's shallow-water capability opens up more options for anchoring and getting close to the beach.
The second video turns to performance, with Dan's BoatLife putting the TH38 through a full sea trial. The test covers acceleration, cruising performance, handling, stability and efficiency across a range of speeds. It also looks at how the catamaran copes with swells, how it turns at speed, how it approaches shallow water, and how it anchors and returns to the dock.
Together, the two videos show what the TH38 is built to offer: the space and freedom of the catamaran experience, combined with the speed and ease of a modern powerboat.
