The 60-metre superyacht 21.12 made an early-morning arrival at Auckland's Silo Marina on 11 January 2026, having completed a passage south from Denarau Island in Fiji.
Launched in 2024, 21.12 is an Amels 60 designed by Damen Yachting and built by the Dutch yard Amels as part of its Limited Editions series. She is the sixth vessel completed to this design.
Photographed by Trevor Coppock Photography, 21.12 paused off Rangitoto Island before continuing towards Westhaven and Silo Marina, drawing the attention of onlookers and photographers along the way. The yacht is currently scheduled to depart Auckland on Wednesday.
Delivered in October 2024, 21.12 features exterior design by Espen Øino, Norwegian naval architect and superyacht designer. Construction commenced in mid-2022, with the build completed in just over two years. She carries 850GT on a steel displacement hull with an aluminium superstructure and teak decks. Beam is 10.4 metres and draft 3.35 metres. Her top speed is 15.5 knots, with a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 4,500nm.
The interior of 21.12 is arranged across four guest decks, with interior spaces totalling around 324 square metres. Styling was handled by Winch Design, known for its work on bespoke, ultra-high-end superyachts and private jets, and carries a contemporary feel. Indoor-outdoor flow is a defining feature of the layout, with the Bridge Deck Lounge serving as the social hub. Opening aft, it creates a combined entertaining area of more than 100 square metres.
The Owner's Suite sits forward on the main deck, distinguished by full-height trapezoidal windows and a folding balcony that forms a private terrace over the water. Additional VIP and guest suites are located below. 21.12 accommodates 12 guests across six cabins, supported by a crew of 13.
On deck, a 9-metre luxury tender sits on the foredeck, handled by a deck crane, with a crew tender and personal watercraft also carried aboard. The beach club and swim platform offer easy access to the water for watersports and relaxed use at anchor.
